This class is for people living with cancer, this starts at time of diagnosis. "This definition ( cancer Survivorship) includes people who have no signs of cancer after finishing treatment, people receiving extended treatment over a longer period of time to control the cancer or reduce risk of its return, and people with advanced cancer. " ( https://www.cancer.net/survivorship/what-cancer-survivorship ) What to expect: In this class involves physical postures based on vinyasa yoga---connecting breath , mindful movements and awareness. All elements of flow movements are gentle yet active, addressing common treatment side effects and symptoms both during and after treatments. As cancer survivors, our job is to keep our immune system healthy. And practicing yoga helps that. American cancer association recommends 150 - 320 hours excise time per week. For me, practicing yoga has been helping me enormously living with cancer in all aspects, and I would like to share benefits of yoga with fellow cancer survivors.
